Graduate College A to Z index
Online degrees programs are designed for the distance student; however, if you live near campus and want to take an on campus class, you need permission from your academic program office. Additional fees for on campus services and MMR requirements will apply with the registration in an on campus class. Please note: Non-USA citizens must provide proof of legal status in the USA prior to enrolling for campus courses. International students, needing to enter the USA, will need to obtain an F-1 or J-1 visa.

Online degree programs offer 100% of the required coursework in an online format. On campus degree programs may offer some courses online but do not guarantee that all required coursework will be available in an online format. Some degrees are offered in both formats. Students attending a campus-based degree that offers online courses are generally able to take classes in either format on a space available basis.
