Arizona State University and the Graduate College celebrate diversity in faculty, staff, and students and intellectual ideas. At the core of our mission is our commitment to social justice and the belief that multiple perspectives and experiences are essential to our University mission. We will achieve an environment in which students may think, learn, and excel without prejudice, where personal dignity and respect for the individual are recognized by all. The Graduate College embraces equality and worth of all peoples and appreciates the diversity of human culture, language, history, and experience.

To contribute to the recruitment, retention, and completion of graduate students, the Graduate College will actively engage in programs that support diversity. Below are some initiatives we have implemented to ensure underrepresented students are successful at ASU:
