gPortal and Electronic Graduate Academic Documents (E-GAD!)
Home >> gPortal and Electronic Graduate Academic Documents (E-GAD!)

gPortal is a secured web-based system for accessing and managing graduate student plan information. gPortal enables you to set up a supplemental application that tailors the online graduate web application for your specific program requirements.

PS gPortal is a secured web-based system for accessing and managing graduate student information in the PeopleSoft system. Using Gportal, you may query applicants and students and make online recommendations to admit students.

E-GAD! is a document imaging system that manages information related to graduate students. It is accessible through a web browser to all faculty and staff who have a need to review student information. To access E-GAD!, you will need a computer equipped with Internet Explorer Version 6.0 or higher OR Netscape Navigator Version 7 or higher.

E-GAD! is a secured system that is accessible from any location; however, you will need an account to sign in. We will set up your user id to be the same as your ASURITE userID, but your password will initially be set to a generic password which will be sent to you in a confirmation email when you are granted access. Please change this password as soon as possible. E-GAD! works hand-in-hand with gPortal. Once we have set up your permissions, you may access documents through the "WebXtender" link in GPortal or by logging directly through E-GAD!

gPortal/EGAD! Access
Access to E-GAD! is granted by your academic unit's gPortal "supervisor(s)". If you are in doubt about who has this authority in your unit, please see your chair, graduate director, or contact the Graduate College at grad-access@asu.edu.

PS Gportal Access is requested online at https://ep.oasis.asu.edu. For employees seeking access to Admit students please request the GR Department Supervisor role. For employees who do not admit students please request the GR Department Staff role. Please be aware that you must complete FERPA training at my.asu.edu before you will be granted access to any student information in PeopleSoft.

Please submit any technical questions to grad-it@asu.edu. For assistance with document location, contact the Graduate Admissions Office at 965-6113 during business hours.
