Questions included differential tuition issues, faculty advising and oversight, admissions criteria, number of hours which may be shared between a first and second bachelor's degree, faculty involvement, and the benefits to students in such programs. The revised guidelines were recommended for approval.

The Council recommended that the proposal be tabled pending further revisions. The revised proposal will be distributed electronically for Council recommendation.

Consideration of the proposal for a joint bachelor's/master's program in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering was postponed to the February 22, 2005 meeting of the Council.

Dean Ozel presented the proposal to disestablish the Master of Arts in Humanities. The proposal was recommended for approval.
