requirements

exploratory phase (first year)

Students interested in applying for admission to the Preparing Future Faculty Exploratory Phase (First Year) must meet the following conditions:

• Pursuing a Doctoral or MFA degree at ASU
• Completed at least one year of the Doctoral or MFA degree program
• Enrolled in that program as a full-time student during PFF participation
• Interested in pursuing a career as a faculty member upon graduation, or at least giving it strong consideration.
• Letter of recommendation from one’s advisor

participatory phase (second year)

Students interested in applying for admission to the Preparing Future Faculty Participatory Phase (Second Year) must meet the following conditions:

• Successful completion of the Exploratory Phase (First Year)
• Enrolled as an active student during PFF participation

postdoc experience

Postdocs interested in applying for admission to the Preparing Future Faculty program must meet the following conditions:

• Pursuiing a postdoc at ASU
• Interested in pursuing a career as a faculty member upon graduation, or at least giving it strong consideration.
• Letter of support from supervisor
