Graduate Service Assistants (GSAs) perform tasks within a specified unit in order to gain working knowledge and develop career-specific skills. They provide professional level support, performing various administrative tasks/projects that contribute to the mission of the unit. GSA positions are not eligible for TA/RA benefits. You may hire GSAs through the TA/RA hiring process. If you are hiring a GSA without benefit of recruitment, submit the HPR directly to Human Resources.
