- The National Organization for Research at the University
of Chicago (NORC) is engaged in research on Career Outcomes for
Doctorate Recipients. NORC receives National Science Foundation
support for the Survey of Earned Doctorates (SED), a project that
encompasses the entire U.S.

- The National Association of Graduate-Professional Students
(NAGPS) surveyed more than 32,000 students and recent Ph.D.'s to
learn their assessment of educational practices and student satisfaction.
Results on some 1,300 graduate programs appear in the 2000 National
Doctoral Program Survey.
