  • www.woodrow.org/responsivephd - The Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation website lists the agenda, initiative, leadership, and activities of the Responsive Ph.D. initiative. It also provides an extensive list of resources, with direct links to information and materials easily available online.
  • www.grad.washington.edu/envision - The University of Washington's Re-envisioning the Ph.D. project examines how the Ph.D. can be re-envisioned to meet the needs of society in the 21st Century. Check the website for news and updates on doctoral education.
  • www.norc.uchicago.edu/issues/docdata.htm - The National Organization for Research at the University of Chicago (NORC) is engaged in research on Career Outcomes for Doctorate Recipients. NORC receives National Science Foundation support for the Survey of Earned Doctorates (SED), a project that encompasses the entire U.S.
  • survey.nagps.org - The National Association of Graduate-Professional Students (NAGPS) surveyed more than 32,000 students and recent Ph.D.'s to learn their assessment of educational practices and student satisfaction. Results on some 1,300 graduate programs appear in the 2000 National Doctoral Program Survey.
