| This hands-on workshop will introduce faculty and staff to the basics of locating funding from government, foundation, and commercial sponsors, and the use of the PRIDE funding services website to help identify funding opportunities. Workshop participants will also learn how to set up automatic funding alerts based on their individual research interests in Community of Science (COS), and develop their profiles in ASU’s Expertise database. Faculty and staff will learn how to use funding research as part of a strategic effort with short and long term funding goals.

Program Description: This series of classes serves as an overview and foundation of the research administration process here at ASU. The series includes approximately 40 topics related to the life of a sponsored project - from funding to proposal to award to closeout. Who can attend: Anyone new to research administration @ ASU may attend this program. When do classes meet: Participants in the program meet every Tuesday and Thursday from 9am to 12pm. The program lasts for 10 to 12 weeks. Participants must attend all sessions. When is this program offered: The program is offered 3 times a year (spring, summer, and fall).
