WAGS/UMI Distinguished Master's Thesis Award

The
Western Association of Graduate Schools (WAGS) and University Microfilms
International (UMI) are pleased to announce the WAGS/UMI
Distinguished Master's Thesis Award competition. This award recognizes
distinguished scholarly achievement at the master's level.
Each
member institution may submit one nomination for the award.

Below you will find a link for the annual WAGS/UMI
Distinguished Master's Thesis Award competition. This link
lists the eligibility requirements and guidelines for submitting theses.
In addition, we are pleased to announce that University Microfilms International
(UMI) has generously funded another competition, the Innovation in Technology
Award. This competition is open for both master's theses and doctoral
dissertations that have made "a contribution to the innovative and/or
creative use of technology in the conduct of scholarship. This innovative
use of digital technology may be applied either to the research or the
presentation of a thesis or dissertation, or to both." The
announcement listing the eligibility requirements and guidelines for this
award may be found at

The Graduate College's deadline to submit nominations for the
