Teaching Assistant/Associate Development Program Orientation Session

Will you be a first-time teaching assistant (TA) at Arizona State University during the fall 2018 semester? If so, this orientation session is for you. 

First-time TAs must attend a TA orientation session. Registration is mandatory, and there are two sessions to choose from. You're only required to attend one.

Sessions:

Thursday, Aug. 9
1–5 p.m.
Murdock Hall, room 101

Friday, Aug. 10
8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Murdock Hall, room 101

Please expect to remain for the duration of the session, approximately four hours.

Parking

Parking for this event is not validated.

All TA orientation sessions will be held on Tempe campus, location TBD. For students without valid 2018–2019 ASU parking permits, nearest visitor parking can be found in Lot 20. For parking options and costs, please refer to the ASU Parking and Transit Services homepage: https://cfo.asu.edu/parking.

Teaching and Research Assistant Resources

The Teaching Assistant/Associate Development (TAD) Program is required for all TAs and designed to provide new TAs with an orientation to ASU and the TA position.
