This IADP application is for students applying to the undergraduate portion of an IADP. Deadline to apply is May 1.

If you are NOT part of an IADP program, and are interested in applying to ASU, please contact Admissions. Students who have not received prior approval from an International Office Advisor, or are from schools that do not have IADP agreements with ASU, will not be considered for IADP program admission and the application fee will not be refunded.

Instructions
Undergraduate applicants to IADPs
The IADP application is for undergraduate students whose home institution has an IADP agreement with ASU and includes taking undergraduate coursework at ASU. Before beginning the IADP application, students should review all information regarding the application process.
Please note: Students should not apply through the IADP application link if they have already received an undergraduate degree.
Step 1 - Gather required materials
- Credit/debit card for $90 USD non-refundable application fee
- English proficiency test score
- Copy of college transcripts
Step 2 - Complete the online IADP application
- Allow approximately 30 minutes to complete the application. Students may save and return to their application.
Step 3 - Activate your MyASU account
- Students will receive an email with instructions to activate their ASURITE User ID within three days of completing an IADP application.
- Students should monitor their MyASU account webpage to check priority tasks and to see their application status.
Step 4 - Graduate supplemental application
- Complete the Graduate Supplemental Application. The priority deadline is May 1.
- Access the Supplemental Application from your MyASU priority task list.
- Upload 5 semesters of college transcripts.
- Upload a copy of English Proficiency results. (If applicable)
- Some programs may require a Skype interview and will contact you to schedule.
Graduate applicants to IADPs
If your IADP format is a 1+1, or other IADP format that begins at the graduate level at ASU, carefully follow these instructions.
Step 2 – Email IADP@asu.edu the following information:
- Your full name as it appears on your passport (given name and family name)
- The name of the university where you are currently enrolled
- Your 10-digit ASU ID number
- Your birth date
- The ASU master’s major to which you have applied

Transitioning to an IADP graduate program at ASU
Once you successfully complete the undergraduate semesters at ASU, do the following:
Step 1 - Provide home institution with an official ASU transcript
Step 2 - Provide a final official undergraduate transcript to ASU

You must provide transcripts, degree certificate and/or diploma, from your home institution to ASU. Transcripts must include a version in the primary language of the university, and a version translated to English (if English is not the university’s primary language). Step 3 - Complete the graduate Financial Guarantee Form and proof of funding

Once ASU has received the final official transcripts, degree certificate and/or diploma, Financial Guarantee Form and proof of funding, you will be issued a new I-20 for your graduate program. Failure to provide ASU with these documents could cause a delay in studies.
Important: In all cases, students must be in good academic standing such as a minimum GPA of 3.0, to continue to the graduate portion of the accelerated degree program.

What is the application deadline for an IADP?
The IADP application deadline is May 1. All IADP applications and all supporting documents must be completed no later than May 1. Students will receive notification of admittance sometime between May and June. Students can also review their application status on their My ASU.
If I am a dual citizen of the U.S. and another country, can I apply for an IADP?
Students with dual citizenship may qualify to apply to an IADP program. Be sure to indicate your full citizenship when applying. For additional information please contact issc@asu.edu.
Can I apply for an IADP in the Spring or Summer?
No. IADP programs are offered only in the Fall semester.

Where can I find information about English proficiency test scores?
ASU must receive official English proficiency test results from one of the following: TOEFL (www.ETS.org), IELTS (www.IELTS.org), or PTE (http://personpte.com). Additional information on English proficiency can be found at https://students.asu.edu/graduate/proficiency.
Are IADP students required to take the GRE or GMAT exam?
GRE and GMAT exams are not required for IADP students.
I am having problems with my IADP application. What should I do?
Students should use the IADP application that applies to their specific program. If a fee is paid in the wrong application, the application fee is non-refundable. If you are experiencing a technical problem with an IADP application or a Graduate Supplemental Application, please review the application instructions. If you are unable to resolve, contact IADP@asu.edu for assistance.
Can I use a Virtual Private Network (VPN) when paying my IADP application fee?
The IADP application payment screen is a secured site and a Virtual Private Network (VPN) is not needed. For students who use a VPN, the VPN must be open prior to starting the application.
Where do I send my official transcripts?
Official transcripts provide proof of the previous coursework or degree required for your IADP. Official transcripts must include a version in the primary language of the university and a version translated to English (if English is not the university’s primary language). I cannot find my application to make the fee payment. What should I do?
This can happen to students who exit the IADP application before making payment. If the application has not been saved, and is closed prior to making payment, the student will not be able to access their application and a fee/bill will appear on the student’s MyASU. The payment options will be listed and the fee must be paid in full before the student’s IADP application can be considered “complete” and enter the review process. Please note it may take a few days for the fee/bill to appear on the student’s MyASU account.
When will I receive my undergraduate admissions letter?
Sometime between May through June, admitted students will receive an admission letter, SEVIS information and information on completing the I-20 form.

When will I receive information on housing at ASU?
Once you are admitted to your program, you will receive an email with housing information. You may also review options on the ASU Housing website.
Will I attend orientation at ASU?
After arriving at ASU, students will participate in various orientations. There are orientations specific for both undergraduate and graduate international students scheduled in August. Academic units often schedule orientations as well, some of which are mandatory. Please watch your ASU email account and your MyASU account for notifications regarding orientations or reach out to an academic advisor in your department.
Who do I ask for questions regarding my program or course registration?

As an undergraduate student, how many credit hours do I need to take each semester?
To remain in compliance with F1 visa regulations, undergraduate students must enroll in a minimum of 12 credit hours each semester at ASU. In addition, students must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA at ASU to qualify for the graduate segment of the IADP. Some ASU programs have a higher GPA requirement. Please discuss the specific program requirements with your academic advisor.
What is the GPA requirement at ASU?
While at ASU, students are required to maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher to progress to the next semester of your IADP. Some programs have a higher GPA requirement. What is the Graduate Supplemental Application?

The Graduate Supplemental Application is a process for collecting required materials for your graduate program, copies of college transcripts, and English Proficiency results.

The supplemental application priority deadline is May 1.

You can initiate your supplemental application to view the required documents. Once initiated, you can save and complete it at a later time.

Follow the below instructions to review and complete the Graduate Supplemental Application.
- Click the Graduate Supplemental Application link in your MyASU.
- Enter your name and ASU email address into the activation portal.
- You will receive an email with an activation code. Click the link to activate the supplemental application one time only to prevent creating duplicate records.
- Once the Supplemental Application is initiated, you are able to save changes and close it by clicking on “OTHER ACTIONS“ at the top-right of the screen and choosing “Finish Later“.
- To re-enter, click “REVIEW DOCUMENT“ located in your email.
What happens when I initiate a new supplemental application?
Each time a new Graduate Supplemental Application is initiated, a document is created. This causes duplicate records and will delay processing time. Students should re-enter their Graduate Supplemental Application via the email link from the first application that was initiated.
Where do I send letters of recommendation?
Letters of recommendation should be uploaded when completing the Graduate Supplemental Application. If you have any questions regarding your letters of recommendation, please email IADP@asu.edu.
How do I apply to maintain my visa status when returning to the US to complete my graduate program?

Where do I apply for a 1+1 program? (1 master's from home university + 1 master's from ASU)

For 1+1 students applying to an IADP program that combines graduate studies from their home university with graduate studies at ASU, apply directly through the Graduate Admissions website.
