The recipients of the 2021 Knowledge Mobilization Awards were announced on Friday, April 9 after a full-day showcase of graduate student and postdoctoral research. The awards, sponsored by the Graduate College’s Knowledge Mobilization Initiative, recognize the innovation and ingenuity of ASU scholars working to advance academic knowledge beyond the university through use-inspired, socially impactful research. 

In honor of Women’s History Month, the Graduate College has curated a list of movies that recognize historical women, showcase monumental events in women’s history and highlight the various experiences of women in America.

Nationally, March has been heralded as Women’s History Month since 1987 thanks to the pioneering efforts of the National Women’s History Project - now called the National Women’s History Alliance. At ASU, the community has created Women's HERstory Month, commemorating women’s history with in-person and virtual events ranging from watch parties to learning about womanism. 

While some universities may be closing for winter break, ASU will be filled with programming designed to keep students, families, and the entire ASU community engaged and connected. 

Join the ASU Graduate College for a special virtual town hall welcome event for graduate students on Tuesday, July 28, at 6 p.m. MST. Our panel will address questions from graduate students regarding the outlook for the upcoming academic year. It's also your chance to meet with the newly appointed Vice Provost and Dean of the Graduate College, Elizabeth Wentz.
