Wiley Larsen has officially joined the Graduate College as the new Program Manager for the Postdoctoral Affairs Office.
Wiley has been with ASU for six years, and spent much of his time working with faculty and student startup companies through ASU’s Office of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, based at the SkySong location in Scottsdale. “We are excited about what he brings to the position from the world of entrepreneurship and his service to the ASU community,” said Alfredo Artiles, dean of the Graduate College.
Larsen’s primary responsibilities will be to organize regular social and professional development opportunities for ASU’s postdoc community. He’s also tasked with creating a new web presence, newsletter and support materials specifically for postdocs, as well as serving as the liaison to the National Postdoctoral Association on behalf of postdocs at ASU.
If you have thoughts or ideas about how we can improve campus life for ASU postdocs by advancing professional development and networking opportunities and building community, please feel free to send Wiley an email – firstname.lastname@example.org.
