Graduate College

Arizona State University students have been awarded over 500 national awards worth millions of dollars in external funding, placing ASU among the top schools in the United States for success in national scholarship competitions. With support from the Graduate College, our graduate students and postdoctoral researchers compete for these distinguished honors and become outstanding scholars, leaders both in their disciplines and in the larger society.

ASU’s Graduate College supports these efforts in the following ways:

  • A website featuring various awards and information about the sponsors, links to databases of awards for academic study and dissertation research, and tips for and links to general writing and proposal preparation resources
  • Regularly hosted information sessions and webinars designed to provide more in-depth orientations to sponsor requirements
  • Close partnership with Barret, the Honors College Lorraine W. Frank Office of National Scholarship Administration (ONSA) to offer individual support for applicants for targeted awards
