Promoting ASU International Partnerships at NAFSA 2017

Graduate College staff visited Los Angeles to participate in the NAFSA Annual Conference.

Every year, NAFSA: Association of International Educators hosts their annual conferences all over the U.S. and invites national and international educators and staff to build professional development skills and create or maintain international partnerships.

Staff members from the Graduate College attended the conference to reconnect, reposition and introduce new opportunities to Arizona State University’s existing international partners. “It was great to meet with new and existing partners and promote Graduate College’s programs, such as the International Accelerated Degree Programs [also known as 3+1+1, 4+1+2, 1+1],” said Anna Choi, International Student Coordinator.

In addition, they participated in a professional development session to better understand the current trends in international education and to connect with other international educators to develop a resource sharing network. Moreover, various departments from ASU set up a booth to promote ASU as a whole and provide a one-stop shop for anyone interested in partnering with ASU.
