Graduate College

Arizona State University’s Graduate College is pursuing an ambitious agenda that increases access to excellent graduate programs, enriches the educational experiences of graduate students and postdoctoral fellows, and enhances interdisciplinary learning ecologies. We are proud to contribute to the recruitment and support of talented, resourceful and innovative graduate students, faculty and staff.

The Graduate College recognizes and celebrates the successes of our students and faculty by hosting several signature events. This year, we celebrated the achievements of 2017-18 award recipients of Achievement Rewards for College Scientists (ARCS), the NSF-Graduate Research Fellowships Program (GRFP), Completion Fellows (CF), and the Interdisciplinary Enrichment Fellowship (IEF).

On November 15, we’ll be recognizing outstanding faculty mentors with an award ceremony. This year we received over 250 graduate faculty nominations — a testament to the exemplary service our educators provide every day. I want to congratulate the faculty who were nominated and invite you to join us in thanking these exceptional mentors at our open reception!

Our newest initiative is the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs. We’re gearing up an agenda for supporting postdoctoral fellows at Arizona State University by creating a supportive and nurturing environment, providing scholars with the skills for success at ASU and beyond.

Another initiative we’re excited about is the updates to the Interactive Plan of Study (iPOS). The new iPOS will be mobile-friendly and boast new features such as the ability to pre-load core requirements, further enriching our students’ experience.

Whether you’re a current student, postdoctoral fellow, faculty or staff member, I hope you’re able to participate in our programming to celebrate each other’s success and continue to form lasting relationships that will inform your endeavors for years to come.
