Graduate Student Welcome

We hope you engage in the full ASU graduate student experience, meet new friends, and explore leadership opportunities and network while you are at ASU. Graduate College, Graduate and Professional Student Association (GPSA) and many other graduate education advocates welcome you in the fall to events at four ASU campuses. In addition to the campus-wide events, some academic units schedule orientations where students can become familiar with services and opportunities offered by their colleges. If you don't see the information on the Fall Welcome calendar, please contact your academic unit.

Graduate and Professional Student Appreciation Week

A week-long celebration of graduate and professional students will be held March 16-20, 2015.  Some events to look forward to include the Shades breakfast, the Graduate Student Entrepreneurs Forum, the GPSA annual picnic, many Community of Scholars seminars, and individual events hosted by other ASU organizations. More details to come as events are finalized.

Events will recognize ASU graduate student accomplishments and highlight graduate students’ projects and poster presentations.  Free professional development workshops will be offered.  Dates and other details are posted on the Graduate College events calendar.

GPSA is the student government for Arizona State University's graduate and professional students.

Shades Multicultural Peer Mentoring Program

Interested students are matched and mentored by their peers from similar programs of study.
