The Graduate College Knowledge Mobilization Impact Awards are an annual showcase and research competition highlighting graduate and postdoctoral knowledge impact projects at ASU. The awards recognize achievements in transforming formal research into useful policy and practice that will improve outcomes in organizations and public sectors.
The Knowledge Mobilization Impact Awards ceremony provides opportunities for ASU graduate students and postdoctoral scholars to share their research beyond their disciplines. Students, faculty, and the ASU community are welcome to attend. Attendees learn more about the meaning of Knowledge Mobilization, engage with other Knowledge Mobilization scholars to foster and stimulation new connections, and watch the 3-minute videos of the KM Impact Award finalists before announcing the 2018–2019 Knowledge Mobilization Impact awardees.

Who is eligible?
ASU Doctoral and masters students, and postdoctoral scholars are encouraged to apply. You may apply, if you are:
Monday, February 18, 2019 – All Knowledge Mobilization Impact Award Materials Due
Week of February 25, 2019 – Finalists are notified (3 scholars from each category)
Friday, March 1, 2019 (12 p.m.) – Info session with finalists to discuss final video submission
Friday, March 15, 2019 – Knowledge Mobilization Impact Video Due
Thursday, March 28, 2019 – Knowledge Mobilization Impact Awards Ceremony
The application process includes the following steps:
Complete Application Due: Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at 5 p.m.
Knowledge Mobilization Impact Award Categories
Master’s: $250 research and/or travel allowance
Doctoral: $500 research and/or travel allowance
Postdoctoral: $800 research and/or travel allowance
