About Kuali Curriculum Management at ASU

Kuali Curriculum Management (Kuali CM) is the software ASU uses to manage all data related to course curriculum. Kuali integrates curriculum information across the various university systems, such as PeopleSoft, Interactive Plan of Study (iPOS) and the University Academic Plan, making it easier to submit new proposals and make changes to existing programs. The resources available here will help university staff and administrators understand the graduate curriculum options and use the new features available through Kuali CM.

What do I do if a course is changing its credit hour requirement?

  1. Submit a request to modify the course in Kuali CM.
  2. Submit a Graduate Program Change Form before November 1st to be included in the academic catalog. 

Helpful hint: When making changes to the courses, in the course form dependencies section, it lists what programs are impacted by the change. By reviewing this, you will know which programs will need to be updated.


How do I change the title of a graduate course?

Submit a request to modify the course in Kuali CM before November 1st to be included in the academic catalog.


How do I add a track to an existing graduate program?

Submit a Graduate Track Proposal Form before November 1st to be included in the academic catalog.


How do I modify the total credit hours for a program?

Submit a Graduate Program Change Form before November 1st to be included in the academic catalog.  

Note: If modifying the credit hours more than 25%, the program change will need to be reviewed for HLC notification. Contact curriculumplanning@asu.edu for additional information.


How do I modify the curriculum requirements of a program?
