The Spring 2020 Knowledge Mobilization Studio (GRD 598, #31925, 3 credits) is now enrolling students.
Differing from previous years, the Knowledge Mobilization Studio will invite students in master’s and doctoral programs to hone knowledge mobilization principles within a signature research experience. For Spring 2020 we’re collaborating with several academic, industry and community partners in Mexico to develop creative solutions for real-world, locally situated water issues.
Following the spring 2020 course, graduate students will have an additional opportunity to travel to Baja California, Sonora and Chihuahua, Mexico and meet with academic, industry and community partners around local water sustainability issues in a three-week study abroad experience. Students will collaborate with local agencies to understand complex, real-world issues of water conservation, develop creative solutions or approaches to said issues and present their findings to a variety of audiences and media
