University Graduate Council

The University Graduate Council consists of faculty from each campus who review and make recommendations regarding the quality and nature of programs, policies, and standards related to graduate education.

Charged with approving curriculum and enforcing policies and procedures, the Graduate College is the designated authority on graduate education policies, curricula quality, and best practices, guiding students, faculty, and staff to drive program progress and student success. The council serves in an advisory capacity to the Dean of Graduate College.
