ASU’s spring 2020 commencement ceremony goes virtual

Due to the continued spread of the COVID-19 virus and the public health recommendations that come with it, Arizona State University will be celebrating the 2020 Spring commencement with its graduates in a virtual ceremony. The format may be different, but our enthusiasm for the celebration of the achievements of our students has never been more inspired. We encourage you to join us in honoring ASU graduate and undergraduate students during the week of May 11.

• Graduate commencement will be combined with undergraduate commencement on Monday, May 11, 2020 and aired on Youtube. Time TBD.

• All graduate students approved to graduate (application submitted and fees paid) are encouraged to participate by submitting a graduation photo and personal message for the virtual ceremony. The deadline to submit all items is Monday, April 27.

• All graduate students approved to graduate for spring 2020 are eligible to walk in December 2020 or Spring 2021 commencement ceremonies. Participation in the virtual ceremony does not disqualify you from that option.
