What can we learn from wastewater? Adam Gushgari, PhD, Civil Environment and Sustainable Engineering, works with local governments to collect non-invasive and anonymous samples of wastewater to understand community drug abuse. The collected data help local officials better focus education, actions and policies toward efforts to combat the opioid epidemic.
