ASU library workshops for graduate students

ASU Library is offering a full slate of workshops for graduate students and other interested students, faculty, and staff this semester.

The Graduate Scholars Toolkit, first offered last semester, is a series of hourlong presentations that connect attendees with library information and resources while enhancing their research skills. Workshops will be offered throughout the semester on a variety of topics, including copyright, citation management, scholarly identity, using archives in research, and data visualization, among others.

Workshops on the Tempe campus will primarily be held on the third floor of the newly opened Hayden Library tower and will be followed by brief tours of the third floor to introduce attendees to the Makerspace, the Map and Geospatial Hub, the Data Science and Analytics Unit and the Faculty and Graduate Student Suite.

A number of workshops will also be offered in Noble Library on the Tempe campus and on the Downtown Phoenix campus. Webinars for those unable to attend in-person workshops will be scheduled soon. In addition, there is an online version of Library 501: What Graduate Students Need to Know about the Library workshop available to all students here.
