Get ready for National Postdoc Appreciation Week — September 16-20

Register for National Postdoc Appreciation Week events.

The Postdoctoral Affairs Office, in partnership with the ASU Postdoc and Early Career Scientists Network, has planned a series of great events for the 2019 National Postdoctoral Appreciation Week. “NPAW” as we affectionately call it, kicks off with the Appreciation Breakfast on Monday, Sept 16 at the University Club, and wraps up with a family picnic on Friday, Sept 20. All of the events are as follows:

Monday, Sept 16 — Postdoc Appreciation Breakfast, 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., University Club

Tuesday, Sept 17 — Postdoc Lunch & Learn, 12:00 to 1:00 in LSE 232 – “Writing scientific papers and getting published” presented by Prof. Bruce Rittmann

Wednesday, Sept 18 — Arizona Postdoc Research Conference 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Piper Auditorium in Phoenix with University of Arizona. Research Talks and Poster Session, followed by Happy Hour at Mother Bunch Brewing.

Thursday, Sept 19 — Industry Career Day with ASU Career Services, 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Tempe MU Turquoise Ballroom (Rm 220)

Friday, Sept 20 — Postdoc Family Picnic, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.,  Interdisciplinary B Lawn; Spouses, partners, kiddos, welcome.
