School of Sustainable Engineering and the Built Environment
Q: Where did you earn your doctorate?
Istanbul University
Q: What does your research focus on?
I am an expert on the adsorption and linear solvation energy relationship (LSER) modeling of several conventional and novel adsorbents. My current research work here at ASU is the novel hybrid electrochemical processes for the regeneration of PFAS-laden carbon-based adsorbents.
Q: Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?
I am a mother of two and I love nature. My favorite hobbies in Arizona are hiking, camping and cycling during fall and winter.
Q: What are your career goals?
To become a tenure track professor in the near future.
