Q: Where do you work at ASU?

Q: Where did you earn your doctorate?

University of Canterbury

Q: What does your research focus on?

I work on a collaborative project between the Arizona Centre of Algal Technology and Innovation (Azcati) and the Central Arizona Project. My work is to detect algae blooms in real-time in the Central Arizona Project canal system and Lake Pleasant — information that is critical to homeowners and agricultural farmers throughout Arizona.

Q: Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?

The stunning natural beauty was one of the reasons that drew me to Arizona. I am an avid traveler, enjoy playing the piano and I am always keen to explore the local culture of a place!

Q: What are your career goals? 

To lead industry-related R&D projects in my field.
