Upcoming awards, grants and events from GPSA

First, GPSA announces the Spring 2019 Awards Program which recognizes graduate student excellence in teaching, research, advocacy and mentorship. The program also recognizes ASU faculty and staff who extensively support and contribute to the graduate student community. Excellence and service recognition through the GPSA Awards program is highly competitive and a prestigious accomplishment since all awards are peer-reviewed. Applications open January 14, 2019. For additional information about the awards visit gpsa.asu.edu/awards.

In addition, spring deadlines are quickly approaching for the ASU Graduate and Professional Student Association’s Jumpstart and Athletics Research Grants! All awards are available to any in-person student enrolled in at least one credit of graduate studies. These grants can be used for a variety of purposes including, but not limited to: equipment rental, materials and supplies, subject incentives and transcription services. Do you need funding to travel to a conference, internship, workshop or other professional development event? GPSA’s Travel Grant program could help! Travel Grants are available for any in-person graduate student enrolled at ASU. These grants reimburse expenses incurred during travel to local and out-of-state professional development events.
