Virtual Graduate Workshop Series returns for Spring 2021 with more academic resources for graduate students
The Graduate Academic Support Center is offering another Graduate Workshop Series for the Spring 2021 academic year.
The Graduate Workshop Series is a collection of virtual lectures focused on a variety of topics such as writing techniques, research practices, data analysis, and statistical concepts. The workshops are intended to provide graduate students with the high level skills they need to pursue advanced degrees and future employment.
The workshop series will be offered throughout the Spring semester and will be held via Zoom. Learn more about the upcoming workshops and register below!
Upcoming Workshops
Statistical Concepts Review (Part 1): Jan. 20 from Noon- 1 p.m.
Students will review introductory statistics concepts such as mean, hypothesis testing (z-test and t-test), and confidence intervals (z-test and t-test). Register at http://bit.ly/S21GradStatReviewP1.
Managing the Thesis and Dissertation Writing Process: Jan. 26 from Noon- 1 p.m.

APA Style, 7th Edition: Feb. 3 from 3 p.m.- 4 p.m.

Writing a Literature Review: Drafting & Revising (Part 2): March 16 from 3 p.m.- 4 p.m.

Introduction to Graduate Funding: March 23 from Noon- 1 p.m.

Preparing to Submit for Possible Publication: April 8 from 3 p.m.- 4 p.m.
