Entering RA/TA tuition awards

RA's and TA's recieve tuition benefits as part of their appointment. Units need to enter the information into GPortal Financial (cs.oasis.asu.edu) to ensure that student receives appropriate tuition and health insurance benefits. 

Current Gportal Financial users can refer to the following support documents:

• How to approve awards
• How to edit/inactivate awards
• How to view UGF allocations and usage

New users, will need to enroll in a training course and request the appropriate PeopleSoft role. For instructions on how to do this, please email [email protected].  

Deadlines for entering and editing RA/TA tuition awards

Summer 2025 (term code 2254):     July 3, 2025

Fall 2025 (term code 2257):        October 17, 2025

Spring 2026 (term code 2261):      March 20, 2026

Summer 2026 (term code 2264):     July 2, 2026

If the TA/RA’s academic unit and appointing unit are not the same, the academic unit is responsible for entering this information. The appointing unit will need to contact the academic unit to enter the award.
