This month commemorates the vast history of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer communities and is centered around National Coming Out Day, which takes place annually Oct. 11. LGBTQ+ History Month was established in 1994 by Missouri high school history teacher Rodney Wilson.

Officially recognized in 1999 by President Bill Clinton to commemorate the valuable contributions made to the nation by the LGBTQ+ community and its members, Pride Month is when we elevate LGBTQ+ voices, celebrate LGBTQ+ culture and support LGBTQ+ rights.
Join a Postdoc Writing Group
Do you have trouble getting motivated to write? Or maybe you’re just so busy in the lab that you feel like you don’t have time? Writing groups can be a great way to get motivated and set aside time for writing!
The ASU Postdoctoral Affairs Office launched a writing group back in February and it has met every Thursday since.
Writing group participants have worked on a variety of projects—from grant applications to scientific articles, to presentations.
New Graduate College student progress reports available
The Graduate College continues to develop innovative solutions for supplying important data needs. Recently, the Graduate College IT and Data Team developed a number of new interactive reports for the graduate support staff community. These reports provide access to enrollment, degrees, student progress, and other resources vital for supplying proactive support services to students. Some newly built reports include:
